Hi Ladies!
I have just finished packing as I am off to Boston for a week for a family wedding :)
I am itching to blog as I have been sooo lazy lately (sorry!!!). I went shopping a few days ago and picked up quite a few things!!!
Zara had some gorgeous tops and I ended up buying my very first leopard print top, here's a link:
http://www.zara.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/uk/en/zara-S2012/189508/772503/ANIMAL%2BPRINT%2BBLOUSE
It is shown tucked in but I don't tend to tuck my tops in. It is gorgeous soft material and perfect for the up and down weather right now.
I also picked up some products that I have been wanting for quite a while. The Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation I have been testing out for the last couple of weeks, and I think I may have found my holygrail foundation! I bought this in Tawny. I have worn it in my last couple of FOTD posts. It is a great colour match for me. I have found that it provides great coverage, looks amazing in photos, lasts all day and does not break me out!
I also tried a couple of Chanel foundations, but they seem to have a pretty high alcohol content (not good for your skin in the long term) and seem to give me a bit of an aging effect as I found the finish a touch too matte. I was disappointed in the Chanel foundation as I have heard good things about them.
I also tried out the new Estee Lauder invisible fluid makeup. This is also a fab foundation (although they don't call it a foundation) and I think I will be buying this for the summer months. I am defo a convert to Estee Lauder!
I need to rave about Illamasqua products. I bought a blush in Hussy - a gorgeous peach! and a gloss in Bella Donna a deep pink. I love these products and will be posting a FOTD soon using both.
Lastly I will post a review on the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray and the John Frieda 3 Day Straight once I have had a chance to use them some more. First thoughts though are that these too are great.
I do quite a bit of research before I buy products as I hate it when I buy something and the colour is not right or the product just does not live up to the claim it makes. I find other beauty blogs and makeupalley.com great for this.
I will be posting products used for perfect hair next!
xx
P.S The lippie, Buxom lipgloss and Sleek blush pictured will feature in my March favourites :)
